Krupp KMK 6275 Specifications
The 275-ton USt (200 mt) lifting capacity Krupp KMK 6275 All-Terrain comes with a 49' - 174' (14.8 - 53 m) 5-section main telescopic boom, 33' - 125' (10 - 38 m) lattice boom extension and 69' - 184' (21 - 56 m) lattice luffing jib in sections of 23' (7 m) for a total tip height of 330' (100.5 m).
Worldwide, this model is designated as the 200 m ton Krupp KMK 6200 with metric specifications.
The lower carrier 6-axle chassis is powered by a 12-cylinder Mercedes Benz OM 444 A (551 HP/405 kW) diesel engine with 14.00 R 25 tires coupled with an Allison 5-speed automatic transmission and the upper crane superstructure is powered by a 6-cylinder Mercedes Benz OM 447 A (296 HP/218 kW).
The base crane GVW is 159, 000 lbs. (72 mt) with a maximum of 132, 200 lbs. (57 mt) of counterweight.
While this model is no longer in production, it is fully supported by a global network of Manitowoc Group authorized Grove Distributors.
In 1995, Grove acquired the Krupp product line of KMK Series All Terrain Cranes, and the KMK 6275 / KMK 6200 model was superseded by the Grove GMK5275.
